The North Belfast Housing and Environmental Forum was set up by North Belfast Partnership in October 2000 to facilitate bringing together interested groups throughout the area to develop a cross – community housing and environmental forum.
This report sets out the progress around the five key themes of the Strategy, and reviews progress against the target objectives outlined at the beginning of the year.
The North Belfast Housing Strategy is a £133 million package of housing proposals that is targeted towards meeting housing need. As well as tackling housing need, the Strategy has also the potential to deliver better health, educational and employment opportunities to people in one of the most disadvantaged areas of Northern Ireland.
