The North Belfast Partnership is the delivery body for the Urban II Programme, a European funded community initiative programme concentrated on the Inner North Belfast area.
The Programme aims to ‘regenerate North Belfast into a vibrant, safe and viable urban community for its people, its environment and its economy’.

ADMINISTRATION OFFICER (18 month contract)
To assist the Finance and Administration Officer in implementing financial and administrative systems, with particular reference to grant expenditure claims, along with providing administrative support to Urban II staff.
NJC Salary Scale 13 –21, currently £14,523 - £17,985

Essential qualifications and experience will include:
- 5 GCSE’s including English and Maths at Grade C or above (or
equivalent qualifications)
- RSA II word processing (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 6 months experience in administration with proven ability in information technology (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, powerpoint)

PROJECT SUPPORT OFFICER (18 month contract)
To assist the Programme Manager in the assessment and implementation of community projects,
research best practice, the preparation of resource materials and training support to groups funded by the Urban II Programme.
NJC Salary Scale 21 – 25 currently £17,985 - £20,235

Essential qualifications will include:

- A 3rd level qualification. For example, a relevant degree/HND (or equivalent) in Community or Urban Development, Communications, Business Studies, or Town and Country Planning.
- OR 3 years relevant experience
- At least 6 months relevant experience in a minimum of 3 of the following areas:

- Administration
- Monitoring
- Project Management Support, Funding and / or managing projects
- Knowledge of local community
- European issues and policies
- Research
- Communications
