Job Opportunities - Project Officer (2 posts)

To assist the Programme Manager in the assessment of a portfolio os community projects across a range of measures within the EU Urban II Community Initiative Programme. Responsibilities to include assessment, economic appraisal, business planning, financial drawdowns and project monitoring.

NJC Salary Scale 26-29 currently £20,895 - £23,175 (Fixed Term Contract - 2 years.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS will include:

A 3rd level qualification. For example, a relevant degree/HND (or equivalent) in Community or Urban Development, Business Studies, or a finance related subject
OR
4 years relevant experience

EXPERINCE:
Two years relevant experience of Community Project Implementation and Management involving at least four of the following areas:

- Management of Capital Build Projects
- Project Assessment/Appraisal
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Management of project closure
- Management of multiple funding packages
- Experience of community relations
- Financial management of projects (budgets, profiling and claims)
- Experience in liaising and working in partnership with other funding agencies
