Job successes Employability Access Project participants Date: 26/10/2006
 
The Employability Access Project (EAP) is delighted to announce that fourteen participants involved in the first EAP pre - employment programmes have gained employment, or are due to commence employment, at the Mater Hospital and North and West Belfast Health and Social Services Trust (NWBHSST).

North Belfast Partnership now wish to appoint a suitably qualified individual/organisation or consortium to design and deliver a "Quality Support Programme" for the community sectpr in North Belfast in order to raise standards of performance and practice and so contribute to sustainability.

Bruno Breezes In Date: 03/10/2006
 
On 4 August, Former World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Frank Bruno flew into Belfast with a group from the Repton Boxing Club in East London, to ‘cut the tape’ on a new purpose built boxing facility for the Dockers Amateur Boxing Club in North Belfast.

Picnic in the Park Date: 03/10/2006
 
Tuesday 19th September saw the official opening of a new picnic area and the unveiling of a number of sculptures within Alexandra Park. The £44,000 scheme was developed as part of North Belfast Partnership’s Community Environment Support Programme for inner North Belfast and is the result of extensive consultation between the Mountcollyer community, Belfast City Council and Groundwork NI.

Capacity Grant Awards - Invite for Apllications Date: 02/10/2006
 
An opportunity is now available for groups within Inner North Belfast to access a limited amount of small grant aid with the aim of developing capacity in terms of urban regeneration.
