Partecipando

This Urbact programme focused on the participation of inhabitants in integrated urban regeneration programmes as a key to improve social cohesion.

The aim of the project was to foster the exchange and dissemination of knowledge between the different players that constitute a group within which information, know how and good practices is shared. The City of Belfast held observer status only in this network. Belfast City Council attended the launch in Rome in January 2004 and sent two community representatives to a workshop in Naples in June 2005. An elected members workshop took place in Cosenza Italy in September 2005. Unfortunately no Councillors from Belfast were available to attend.
