Training Initiatives

North Belfast Partnership is committed to developing the capacity and skills of local people in North Belfast. This commitment is demonstrated through:

• A number of employability, community capacity and social development initiatives

• Funding offered to specific projects devoted to strengthening local skills

• Training resources offered via the website, CD-ROM and paper-based resource packs. The Partnership has recently developed an online interactive training package aimed at supporting groups operating social economy projects. Please click here to be redirected to this online resource.

• Worksheets produced internally by the Partnership providing guidance to community organisations in developing and implementing projects. Some titles include Apportionment, Record Keeping, Using Volunteer Time as Match Funding etc.

• Links to other organisations and resources available - this site provides signposting to websites of other organisations dedicated to strengthening people skills.
