The popular War Years Remembered Exhibition is taking place in Grove Bowling Pavilion, Shore Road from Tuesday 16th to Thursday 18th June, 2009. The exhibition will finish with the Friends of Grove Meet The Neighbours Community Event (Supported By North Belfast Partnership) on Saturday 20th June 2009.
The War Years exhibition is open to the public from 9am-10pm over the three days and the whole community are welcome to attend the event which is free.
The exhibition will also concentrate on the contribution of the Polish forces during WW2 , Enigma, Gurkas, the Warsaw rising. The exhibition includes vehicles, memoribilia, uniforms and much more.
Workshops for schools are also available - Please contact John Read directly to book a 1hour tour.
The community in North Belfast is also encouraged to bring photos and memoribilia connected with WW2 to display at the exhibition.
