A Day of Culture, Music and Information for the population of North Belfast is to be held at the Crumlin Road Gaol, Belfast on Saturday 21st March 2009 from 9am-4pm.
Funded by UnLtd, Belfast City Council Good Relations Unit and the Local Employment Access Partnership with support from North Belfast Partnership, the event will have on site over 50 stands ranging from free food tasting to music and dance from Artsekta. A wide range of performers will also be on show.
The twin themes are to challenge racism and to promote good relations and community safety with general information for the population across North Belfast and Northern Ireland in general.
Limited public tours of the Gaol are available on the day. The use of the Crumlin Road Gaol for the event has been kindly granted by the Department for Social Development and the Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister.
